Where will the wedding ceremony and reception take place?

The wedding and reception will both take place in Atlanta at the Norcross Cultural Arts Center.  Below is the address:

When is the wedding?

Saturday, August 31, 2019. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm. If you arrive after the ceremony begins, you will be asked to wait in the lobby until after the bridal party has entered the ceremony to enter the room.

Is it really necessary to submit a reservation/RSVP?

Due to size and budgetary constraints, each attendee MUST have a reservation submitted by the July 1, 2019 deadline. Those not registered will be welcome to stay for the ceremony, but will not be able to be served during the reception. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Sorry for the inconvenience, but children under the age of 18 will not be allowed in the ceremony or reception

What is the attire?

Semi-formal. No jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, or sneakers please.

I’m traveling from out of town. Which airport should I fly to?

Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.

What transportation options are available to get around the city?

Atlanta does have Uber and Lyft, but bus and rail is also available via MARTA.  If cruising around downtown, you can also hop on the Atlanta Streetcar.

What should I buy as a gift for the happy couple?

What are some fun things to see and do in Atlanta during my visit?  Can you recommend some good restaurants? How about places to shop? Night life?

Restaurants:

Louisiana Bistreaux in Decatur (Live jazz on Tuesday nights, and if you come here, you MUST order the Bistreaux Oysters appetizer)

Eclipse di Luna in Buckhead or Dunwoody (If you like Spanish tapas)

Stone Mountain Pizza Cafe in Stone Mountain (BEST NY style pizza in Atlanta)

Rise-n-Dine Cafe in Decatur/Emory Village (stop here for breakfast/brunch and be sure to try the sweet potato Belgian waffles!)

Sri Thai in Snellville (amazing Thai food and sushi)

Mojitos Cuban-American Bistro in Norcross (if you like authentic Cuban/Latin cuisine, and they have live music on Saturday nights)

Penn Station in North Druid Hills (if you are in the mood for a REALLY good sub!)

Chopt Creative Salad Company in North Druid Hills (the chicken tinga bowl is highly recommended)

Snowflake Tea House in Duluth for icecream and desserts (portion sizes are crazy so be sure to share with a friend)

Arizona Steakhouse in Lithonia (we love the grilled lamb chops, and they have live jazz music on Friday and Saturday nights)
